tiff export menu

This menu is for creating TIFF images from IcoMetrics image files.
The menu works as follows:
- Enter the name of the image file in the B&W, Color, Screen or Bitmap menu field. The system will display the image size on the menu.
- If you want the TIFF file name to be different from the IcoMetrics image name, enter the name you want for the TIFF image in
the Output TIFF file menu field.
- Select a compression scheme by clicking on the Compression scheme menu field. Setting Compression to
none produces much larger
images, but they will likely be easier to import into other programs.
- If the TIFF reader you will be using at the image's destination understands LZW predictors, you
may want to set the LZW predictor menu field to Horizontal differencing. For greatest portability, however, you should set this field to None.
- Select a byte order for the TIFF image if you wish. Some programs are picky about TIFF byte
order, so if one way doesn't work, try the other.
- Click on EXPORT TIFF FILE.
The created file's extension will be .tif, unless you explicitly specify an extension in step 2.
