texture analysis menu
These menus are for performing texture analysis on black & white images. There are two varieties of texture analysis:
- Histogram
- In this menu, you generate a histogram from a selected set of the image's pixels. The menu
lets you perform the usual type of histogram segmentation (by picking bars from the histogram),
and additionally lets you generate a data file that lists various statistical measures of the
histogram data.
- Spatial
- In this menu, you generate a co-occurrence image that shows relationships
between pixels that are spatially distant from each other. You segment
the image by lassoing sections of the co-occurrence image (much like color-space segmentation). Again,
you can create a data file with statistical measures from the co-occurrence image.
