sun rasterfile export menu

This menu is for creating Sun Rasterfiles from IcoMetrics image files. These files are created (on Sun workstations) by the screendump command and may be displayed with the screenload command. The menu works as follows:

  1. Enter the name of the image file in the B&W, Color, Screen or Bitmap menu field.
  2. If you want the rasterfile name to be different from the IcoMetrics image name, enter the name you want for the rasterfile in the Output Sun rasterfile menu field.
  3. If you want the rasterfile's size to be different from the IcoMetrics image's size, enter the desired width and height (in pixels) of the rasterfile. Your IcoMetrics image will be scaled to fit the specified dimensions.
  4. Click on EXPORT SUN RASTERFILE.

The created file's extension will be .ras, unless you explicitly specify an extension in step 2.
