statistics file creation menu

A statistics file is a text file that contains geometrical measurements of the objects you have analyzed. Statistics files have a simple format and are designed to be easy to integrate into other software. The procedure for creating a statistics file is:

Enter the name you want the file to have in the Statistics file menu field. The statistics file will be called .stat.
Set the toggles on the menu so that the parameters that you want to include in the file have the word Yes next to them.
Select the units that you want by clicking on the Output units menu field.
Click on the CREATE STATISTICS FILE menu field to create the file.

As with bitmap and vector file creation, the system uses the following scheme to determine which objects will make it into the statistics file:

If any objects have been highlighted, then only the objects that are visible make it into the statistics file.
If nothing has been highlighted, every object that passes all active constraints makes it into the statistics file.
