postscript printer menu

This menu is for making hardcopy of your images, using any Postscript printer. The procedure
works as follows:
- You indicate the name of the image you want to plot by entering it in
the B&W, Color, Screen, Bitmap, or Vector menu fields.
- Enter the width of the plot in the Plot width menu field. If you enter a width that
is larger than the machine allows, it will be reduced for you.
- Enter the number of copies you want in the Copies menu field.
- Set the Black only? menu field to Yes if what you're plotting contains only black and
white pixels. Otherwise, set it to No. Setting Black only? to Yes makes the plot
go faster, but you cannot, for example, plot greyscale images this way.
- Enter the name of the printer queue the printer is on in the Queue name menu field.
If you aren't sure about this, just try leaving it the way it is.
- Click on MAKE PLOT. The system will begin plotting the image.
The plotting happens "in the background," so you can continue doing other things, or ask for
more plots, while it happens. Until your plot starts to appear, it is a good idea to leave the
image that is being plotted alone.
