pcx import menu

This menu lets you convert PCX images into IcoMetrics images. It works as follows:

  1. You enter the name of the PCX image in the Input PCX file menu field. The expected file extension is .pcx.
  2. If you want the IcoMetrics image name to be different from the PCX image name, enter a name for the converted image in the Image file name field. This is the file you will be creating. The type of file created depends on the contents of the PCX image. It may be a bitmap or a color image.
  3. You click on IMPORT PCX IMAGE.

You can look at a PCX image (without importing it) by entering its name as above, and clicking on PREVIEW PCX IMAGE. The system will set the size of the displayed image so that one image pixel corresponds to one pixel on the workstation screen.

You can preview several PCX images at once, and you can make blowups or delete them in the usual way.
