load vectors

Use this menu to display a vector image when you want to edit it. The procedure is as follows:

  1. You optionally specify a raster image that is to be the background for the vector image. Do this by entering an image name in one of the five background image fields. Then set the menu toggle Display background image? to Yes.
  2. Enter the name of the vector image you want to edit in the Vector image menu field.
  3. Select a color for the vector display, and set the Display vertices? toggle according to whether you want the vertices of the vectors to be marked in the display.
  4. Click on DISPLAY IMAGE. Note that if you already have vector data displayed, and you click on DISPLAY IMAGE, any edits you have made to that data will be lost if you haven't saved them.

At this point, you can use the other menus to edit the vector data.
