image resizing menu

This menu is for changing the size of images. The procedure is as follows:
- You select an image by clicking on one of the image categories at the top of the menu.
The system will report the size of the image and its creation date.
- You enter the name you want the resized image to have in the New image menu field.
- You enter the size you want the new image to have in the New Columns and New Rows menu
fields.
- You set the interpolation mode. There are three choices:
- Sampled
- This mode generates new pixels by "sampling" the original image. This results in "fat bits"
if you are increasing the image's size.
- Bilinear
- This mode produces a smoother result when you make the image larger. It takes longer than
sampling.
- Bicubic
- This mode produces a slightly better-looking result than Bilinear, but takes somewhat longer.
- You click on RESIZE IMAGE. The system will create the resized image and tell you when
it is done.
