hp laserjet printer menu

This menu is for making hardcopy of your images, using an HP LaserJet printer. The procedure
works as follows:
- You indicate the name of the image you want to plot by entering it in the
B&W, Color Screen, Bitmap, or Vector menu fields.
- Enter the width of the plot in the Plot width menu field. If you enter a width that
is larger than the machine allows, it will be reduced for you.
- Enter the number of copies you want in the Copies menu field.
- Set the resolution you want for the plot by clicking on the Resolution menu field.
- Enter the name of the device port the printer is on in the Port/file name menu field.
If you aren't sure about this, just try leaving it the way it is. If you wish, you
can enter a file name here instead of a device name, and the plotting software will
create a disk file with the plot commands in it.
- Click on MAKE PLOT. The system will begin plotting the image, or creating the plot
file if that was what you requested.
The plotting happens "in the background," so you can continue doing other things, or ask for
more plots, while it happens. Until your plot starts to appear, it is a good idea to leave the
image that is being plotted alone.
