eigenvector file menu

This menu is for saving eigenvectors to disk and recalling them. Eigenvectors are created when you perform a principal components analysis on a set of objects. You can use a recalled eigenvector file to apply the results of a principal component analysis to many images.

To save an eigenvector file, click on the Eigenvector file menu field and enter the name you want the eigenvector file to have. By default, it is the same as the name of the file you are analyzing. Then click on the SAVE EIGENVECTOR FILE menu field.

To recall eigenvectors, click on the Eigenvector file menu field and select the file you want from the list. Then click on the RECALL EIGENVECTOR FILE menu field. You can then produce principal component graphs using those eigenvectors.
