clipboard options

--------------------------------
Clipboard images are screen images that you create and load with image data and graphic annotations. If you create a clipboard in these menus and save it to disk, you should treat it as a Screen image in other menus. For example, in the Hardcopy menu, you would click on the Screen menu field to select a clipboard for plotting.

The usual procedure for clipboards is:

  1. Create the clipboard in the Create clipboard menu. This basically creates a blank page. (You can specify the size of the clipboard in pixels. The larger the clipboard, the better the resolution, but the longer everything takes.)
  2. Paste images into the clipboard, using the Add images menu.
  3. Add annotations and graphics using the Annotate menu.
  4. Save the clipboard to disk using the Save clipboard menu.

You can also edit previously-created clipboards by selecting the Edit Old Clipboard menu, instead of the Create Clipboard menu.
